Rocky′s Launches New Web Site

Springfield, MA — Rocky′s Ace Hardware announces the launch of a new corporate Web site. The site was designed to reflect Rocky′s increased commitment to customer service and other new corporate priorities.
Rocky′s customers can now sign up to receive online-only specials, coupons and regular Rocky′s flyers via e-mail and track rebates through the Ace Rebate Center. The site also provides “do-it-yourself” customers with a number of project tips.
The new Web site also features a “Go Green!” section that contains suggestions to save energy, conserve water and keep customers′ homes cleaner and safer from toxins and pollutants. Customers can view Rocky′s products that can help them accomplish these green goals.
“Rocky′s is looking to continuously improve our customer service and respond to our customers′ changing needs and interests. Many of our customers are looking to save money and energy this year, so making that process more simple for them was a logical next step for us,” explains Mario Magnani, Rocky’s vice president of marketing.
A new career section with an online job application submission feature will also help Rocky′s continue to attract employees to its growing network of store locations.
“We want to hire the best and most dedicated employees we can find, and we want to make it easier for them to find Rocky′s. We offer an excellent work environment, training programs and a lot of advancement opportunities, so Rocky′s is a very attractive company to work for,” says human resources director Lynn Kelly. “This Web site simplifies our job application process and allows the hiring staff to keep in closer contact with job applicants.”
The site also includes a “New at Rocky′s” section to help customers keep track of new products and services available. At the time of launch, this section features Rocky′s new soil testing services, which help customers get a detailed soil analysis and customized lawn-care advice. Other features include Rocky′s new digital auto key duplication services, as well as the Benjamin Moore paint centers now at select Rocky′s locations.
Downloadable Rocky′s circulars, an energy-savings calculator and a Rocky′s store locator are also new to the site.
“We are always continuing to develop new features and programs, so we know that this new Web site is just the first stage of several key Web and service initiatives from Rocky′s. We also look forward to hearing from our customers about their experience on the new Rockys.com,” comments Magnani.
